A grounding connection has been welded to each steel column\u2014an important engineering measure that enhances the overall safety of the building in compliance with current construction standards.  <\/p>\n\n<p>A layer of roofing felt is being applied over the floor slabs as a waterproofing membrane to protect against capillary moisture.
